The Youth Leadership Team put on the North Pole Olympics for the elementary students at the Strongsville campus! Our student leaders have been working on cooperation skills and created different games to promote team work for everyone to play! Thank you to our Youth Leadership Team for their excellent leadership skills and hosting such a fun event!

This week 5th grade learned to play dreidels! We talked about Chanukah, Menorahs, Gelt, and Dreidels! We had an absolute blast learning our new game while celebrating different holidays in the classroom! ✡️

Lakewood Staff participated in Tinseltoots Reindeer Games today with students cheering them on! Congratulations to the winning team, Ms. Sommers and Mr. Albright!



AEA Lakewood’s Elf showed up Monday morning to greet students and has been sighted in several locations. Students participated in a naming competition and our winners won Snowman Poop from our Elf, newly named, Tinseltoots Jinglesyth! Where will Tinseltoots show up next?!

On Friday, members of the North Coast Men's Chorus visited our Lakewood campus. Along with lots of holiday cheer and leading carols, they brought gift cards along with personalized handwritten cards for each student. The NCMC appreciates AEA-Lakewood and came to share some of their love and the message that each of our students are special. Thank you, NCMC!!!!

Last week Mrs. Banka and the student council organized a Thanksgiving feast for the Middle and High School students at Strongsville. It was a wonderful event! We hope everyone enjoyed their break!

AEA’s 3-5 youth leadership team has been hard at work learning about respect and optimism. They have also taught the K-2 students about what they are learning, and helped collect donations for the Strongsville Food Bank! Way to go!



This month has been all about optimism at AEA! During their counseling lessons with Ms. Onderak, the elementary students explored the concept of a growth mindset and learned different strategies to promote positive thinking!





There will be no school from November 27th to December 1st. See you all back on Monday, December 2nd!
