AEA Lakewood students visited the Tri-C Metro Campus today to explore welding and manufacturing. Students were introduced to various career options, learned about the Workforce-Ready Program, and learned the importance of developing essential job skills. They also had the opportunity to network with college staff, instructors, and other professionals.




Lakewood students toured the Channel 19 News station with Jenny Picciano. They met the marketing team and production management, watched a live news stream, and interacted with other members of the Channel 19 team.




Some of the 5th and 7th graders at Strongsville worked on a collaborative research project about how the sun’s angles change the climate and seasons in different places around the globe.

There is no school Monday, February 17th in observance of Presidents' Day.

This week, AEA Lakewood students traveled to the Beck Center for the Arts to participate in four workshops. The students had the opportunity to experience dance, Visual Arts, Music, and Theater.



Students from our Strongsville Campus toured Cleveland State University where they learned about the numerous degree programs, financial aid, and housing opportunities offered by the university.

Students from our Strongsville Campus visited MAGNET - The manufacturing, advocacy and growth network - where they learned about opportunities in manufacturing while building race cars, mixing paint, and playing with OTIS the robot dog.









The K-9 Caring Angels paid a visit to the Strongsville campus last week. Therapy dogs "Reggie" and "Fjord" visited the classrooms and provided opportunities for hugs, pets, and cuddles.
