This year AEA is rolling out a program to encourage families to come to the building for a fun night filled with activities around literacy! The Strongsville campus seniors made an informative visit to WEWS Channel 5 last week. The students were able to ask questions of the producers and on-air news anchors. They visited the control room during the live noon news broadcast, and talked with meteorologist Katie McGraw.

This past weekend Mrs.Puma took two of her 7th grade students to The Power of the Pen Competion at Fairview High School. This little team was small but mighty! They went up against 21 other schools with teams of 6-13 students! Power of the pen is a creative writing competiton where students compete in three rounds of writing. They are given a prompt and only 40 minutes to write. They did an amazing job and we find out soon if they made it to regionals!

The Youth Leadership Team put on the North Pole Olympics for the elementary students at the Strongsville campus! Our student leaders have been working on cooperation skills and created different games to promote team work for everyone to play! Thank you to our Youth Leadership Team for their excellent leadership skills and hosting such a fun event!
This week 5th grade learned to play dreidels! We talked about Chanukah, Menorahs, Gelt, and Dreidels! We had an absolute blast learning our new game while celebrating different holidays in the classroom! ✡️
