AEA Strongsville hosted their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat event this past Friday evening!






Our our AEA counselors had the opportunity to attend the annual Tri-C counselor breakfast where they gained valuable insight into Cuyahoga Community College's workforce and manufacturing programs as well as updates to financial aid and the CCP program.

The Strongsville campus welcomed Laura Alspaugh from Hiram College for an informative talk and Q&A with the Juniors and Seniors about Hiram College's award winning programs and the advantages of a small liberal arts college.

Congratulations to our Staff of the month winners for October! We are grateful for all our AEA staff members but an extra shoutout goes to Mr. Lasky from the Strongsville Campus and Ms. Thevenin from the Lakewood Campus this month!

The 8th-grade students at the Strongsville campus are organizing a Pet Drive to support the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, running from October 21 through November 16.
We are collecting much-needed pet supplies such as plush toys, leashes, collars, busy bones, treats, poop bags and more! A full list of items can be found on the Amazon Wishlist, which you can access here: Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter Amazon Wishlist.
Donations can be dropped off in the collection boxes located in several spots in the school.

Mrs. Sedlock's Grade 10 students were involved in squid dissection this morning. Did you know that a squid's brain is donut shaped? Or that squids have three hearts? The students located both external and internal anatomy of the squid.
What a great hands-on activity...SQUIDS ROCK!

These 8th and 9th grade students at the Lakewood campus focused on building teamwork skills, such as communication, active listening, and problem solving during this SEL lesson. The cup stack challenge had students completing different configurations of cups without using their hands.


Mr. Z and the Lakewood Seniors had a blast at the Cleveland Art Museum!



Ms. Paulic's KG has adopted a cow! Her name is Peony and every month they get updates about her from a local farm. They had a reveal party yesterday and the students were so excited!
