Discover your interests and join one of AEA Strongsville's after school clubs! Students will have an enjoyable opportunity to hang out with their peers in one of our many clubs to match their interests and goals.  Clubs will be held in person, however, some clubs will be available virtually. Mondays are stressful! Coloring is a great way to relax! We will color, listen to music, and have some conversation to get us in a good mindset for the rest of the week!

As a club we will be choosing a book to read at the K-5 level. We will be reading the book together and getting to know characters and exploring genres. In the 6-9 club we will have more freedom to choose books, genres, and be completing small projects to share with the group!

Calling all Pokemon Trainers! Welcome to Pokemon Club! In this club we talk about Pokemon, test our skills in Kahoot style games about Pokemon, and show off our latest Pokemon Cards!

Book Buddy Club With Ms. DeLaat (Grade K-9)

Book Buddy Club is here to help students fall in love with reading! Younger students will be paired with older students to practice reading. Younger students can practice reading books they're learning to read in class with the help of an older, more experienced reader. Older readers can help read interesting picture books to younger students that fit into both their reading interests. This will be an in-person learning club after school. Video Game & Coding Club with Mr. Campbell (Grade 5-9)

Coding/Video Game Club is all about coding and designing our own video games. We used Coding Websites like Scratch to look at how coding applies to all the popular video games being released on every console.

Sports Club/Intramural Club is a club that allows students to discuss and explore the world of sports. We will talk about sporting events that had happened throughout the week, as well as, the events happening over the weekend. Different sports will be highlighted weekly, as will different teams, players, or clubs. Whenever the weather allows for it, we will also be
incorporating some form of skill/fundamental of whichever sport we are discussing that week. (This is dependent on meeting all state and school COVID safety regulations.)

Art Club With Mrs. McPherson (Grades K-5 and 6-9)

Art Club gives students the opportunity to meet monthly in a more relaxed and informal setting to discuss and work on art. It provides students the chance to build a community at AEA through the arts, practice their artistic skills while enhancing their knowledge on various art materials, and to collaborate while learning how to work together as a group on projects to

Kindness Club is a club that recognizes how being a kid is sometimes hard. This club strives to make school an uplifting place by implementing campaigns, activities and projects. Projects may include writing positive messages around the school, creating compliment cards and decorating
